I see a lot of young men unfulfilled by dating and their jobs. Well you better find something to love. Some shyt that other people don't control that you can do and immerse yourself in it. Study it become obsessed with it in a sense. I'm telling you this will save you. It will save your life.

I know dudes will come in saying "My passion is getting money or p*ssy ect. "

All shyt someone else controls. That means they can control you. Some of ya'll will laugh at this and so what. But for those of you that follow this, you will be happier for it.

My passion is writing and then MMA.

Came to the realization that “following your passion” means having to sacrifice everything (women, money, etc) to fall in love with it. In a sense, “dying” so that the new “passion-filled” you is born. As of today I’m dead.

Most black men go the gym, sports, athletics route. Some do music, some like videos games, comics, and other nikka-nerd shyt. I agree with the premises though. Gotta have something you like to do that outside forces can’t control the enjoyment you gain from it.

This is critical. Even while I was out over the weekend, three or four drinks in and surrounded by women, it hit me that all of it was fleeting. It’s like I had an epiphany that women and money come and go and the only thing that truly lasts are my craft and my passions.
