Nuggets offensive struggles are understandable. They’re without their 2nd and 3rd best offense players, so people are having to take on bigger roles than they should have, and that doesn’t go well against a good defense in the playoffs.

What’s inexcusable though is the defense. How many times did klay Thompson just get left open? Klay fukkin Thompson. If Jordan Poole is gonna hit a step back fadeaway from the corner on you, cool, tip your cap. Draymond hitting 3s, you live with that. But I saw bryn Forbes leave klay Thompson, who had the ball, on the wing to go back to the corner where no one was. These dudes are playing like it’s game 30, not games 83 and 84 against a team you have to stay sharp against.

Bryn Forbes couldn't guard a scarecrow in an open field.

His minutes killed the Bucks last year in multiple series.

Jokic is this mvp version of Steve Nash

Nah this is a bad take.

During Nash's MVP years, you could argue you would take ~20 other players over him and it wouldn't be outright silly.

You are maybe taking 3-4 players before Jokic before your opinion is just dumb.

There will be more than 20 players advancing further in the playoffs because they had more impact on a series though :yeshrug:

Which players are beating a healthy Warriors squad with Will Barton & Aaron Gordon as their 2 and 3?

There is a reason I say Trae is the best offensive player in the NBA and not Jokic. You can't wear Trae down, he wears you down. With Jokic, you can run him down. Phoenix did it last year and GS is gonna do it this year.
Trae is just a lot better than Jokic offensively. Trae biggest flaw is, he's just a below average open court player but that don't mean shyt in the playoffs as it does in the RS.

Trae getting slept on when he's the best in the game offensively. Nothing like him. Every offensive possession, he puts maximum pressure on your defense. Jokic is RS elite. A lot of the shyt he do is because you don't have time to gameplan around it in the RS. The problem playing against Trae is like Reggie Miller, he has time to gameplan against you in the playoffs. To me, it was never close. I know Jokic deserved MVP this year but he's flawed playoffs wise. I don't think Murray or Porter Jr is the answer either.
I hate fans with zero Basketball IQ and don't watch the NBA as much as I do. Shut the fukk up when someone who's knows what they are talking about is talking.
Its facts, watch all Trae games. Ain't nothing like him offensively, especially in the playoffs. In the RS, he take too many possessions off but in the playoffs. That nikka is playing chess at a chess master level. Just watch that shyt.

Watch Jokic, all of the RS excellence goes away when teams scheme it away. We saw Phoenix do it last year. We are seeing GS do it this year.

There is levels to this shyt. Jokic for the RS, is one of the GOATs offensively. In the playoffs, he's not that guy.
Another game another day of these takes aging badly.

For as good as Poole is, he wouldn't be who he is right now on another squad.

The culture/system that Kerr, Steph, Dray and Klay have created has allowed him to thrive, becoming the best version of himself, along with shooting begets shooting. You've got a core that has won three titles and been to the Finals five times, and who're all still in their primes (albeit at the tail end of), yet they have no problem sharing the spotlight with a 22-year-old. They see him as one of them. As Draymond pointed out in the clip, the same shyt he does to get Steph open, he now does with Poole. The fact that he even speaks about him in that manner should tell you all you need to know on why this team keeps performing at a high level.
