Oh, no doubt, and that's my point. Jokic needs running mates like Jrue and Middleton, but Murray and MPJ (as a collective) aren't that. The stars will need to align for the Nuggets to get players like that to surround Jokic with. Giannis would still be stuck in 1st/2nd round exit status if the Bucks didn't get him the right help.

:manny:

Giannis won 60 games and got to the ECF (an OT away from going up 3-0 on Toronto) with Eric Bledsoe and Middleton.... Yeah Khris is really good but not much better than Murray and Bledsoe always been a heavily flawed player. Even Monte Morris probably better.

Giannis is just a far more complete, impactful and well rounded player than Jokic :manny:

I'm really surprised Murray didn't come back this season. Everybody heals differently but it's been 12 months since he tore his ACL. Woulda thought he would have come back by March at least.
Seems like the timeline for NBA ACL recoveries is longer these days compared to back in the day. These NFL nikkas be coming back fast as hell tho.

Bubble asterisks :manny:

Its the only time we seen Jokic Nuggets look like a threat and it was with Jamal Murray playin like Steph Curry in the yoffs so its still TBD in a real playoff with travel and arenas.

Three all stars, an ascending player, a hall of fame coach who's probably the best modern coach with depth against basically Jokic. Yeah end this shyt
