In fact, both parties are to blame for allowing the White man and his standards of beauty and oppressive advertisement campaigns to influence how they feel about themselves. Of course black people are not attractive when measure against some eurocentric standard of beauty. Why should we view ourselves as subject to that just because we live in [a] mainly white country(-ies)? According to Black beauty standards, white is not beautiful and their hair type, eye color and body types don't make sense in our native lands. We need to internalize OUR OWN standards and REJECT the white man's program and standards which we will never and should never meet anyway. This is really about blaming each other while the puppet master pulls the strings and cackles like the CAC he is.
