While it certainly wasn't "on" Smith you can't ignore the offenses inability to sustain drives in the second half. That was a major part of this loss.

Game is on Reid but Smith had opportunities to put the game out of reach and did not. It is what it is....but If Cutler, Romo, Peyton played like this you'd be the 1st one here shytting on him.

Reid had Smith looking like Steve Young in the 1st half. I'd say he's the reason why the Chiefs didn't get blown out of the watter.

All those other dudes have history of blowing big games.

Smith definitely missed some opportunities, and even at the end there he put the ball on the mark and Bowe couldn't get his feet down.

It's really hard to get on dude at all for this, Bowe lands that other foot and he is a hero with the best game of his life. Instead now, the 2-3 throws he missed can be highlighted for the failure.

Romo, Cutler and Manning would have ended that game with a pick on a dumpoff pass

:mindblown: What do you want him to do, he gave them a 28 point lead. Should they have been up 40, even after the pass they were still up 10

You know what that comes from though, Charles and then avis going out. They had no run game whatsoever to pound the ball and control a lead.

Charles going down killed them, if he was around no that game would have ended the way it did

:childplease: I don't care how many turnovers the defense causes, if they give up 45 points in the process its all null. So this nikka has to score 50 in order to win the game? If that's the case then no wonder he doesnt win

That's a lot of turnovers.

Sorry but Alex Smith def shares blame regardless how good his stats are. Dude is scared to throw the ball down the field when it matters the most period. Andrew Luck isnt and thats where the difference lies. Alex smith plays not to make a mistake. Luck plays to win the fukin game

Playing not to make mistakes is the definition of game manager

Pretty much what it comes down to.

People pick and choose who they want to blame based on whatever agenda they have.

that call before the 4th down play is the one I'm scratchin my head over.

:manny:
usually when you're faced with 3rd and long in that situation you just try to get some of it back to make it more manageable. Understandable, but the timeouts were inexcusable.
