I doubt it. We was never really influenced much by cali. He never adopted they slang, they culture, gangs. The rags started out as army fatigue rags cause wearing fatigues clothes was big in the 80s/90s and once it had been around for a while people flipped it and started to match them with whatever color they was wearing

I mean I just said it started with camo rags(cali never rocked that) from the late 80-to mid 90s and it’s transition to us wear colored rags in the late 90s cause people transition from the camo and started wearing rags that matched they cloths. So if I had blue on I would wear the rag as a fashion accessory to match

How do you rate the menstral show album?

The Minstrel show ...was nothing remarkable.Listened to it on a road trip when it came out,on the way home we listened to the bonus album of The 18th Letter by Rakim (the book of life) which was a rakim greatest hits album.
Haven't listened to LB since then.

Nothing was going to stand up to Rakim greatest hits, but people were touting it as this and that...I wasn't impressed.

Are you old enough to remember Omniscence?
