I have a positive rep and I’m light-skinned. What makes me racially ambiguous?

I’m not typical for my family. I just got some throwback genes from my paternal grandmother and maternal grandfather. Why does this make me less black? Both of my parents are “dark”.

When did I become lame? In real life I mean.
