I blanked out the mid 00s, you know it was rough when top tier rappers was putting out mediocre work.
2004 was the last goof year in hip-hop to me. IT all went to shyt after 2005,.
That’s when I started going to more white clubs smh
Where you could hear "Don'tcha" by the p*ssycat Dolls on rotation while paris hilton lookalikes wearing von dutch hats and juicy couture did jello shots.
:mjlol:

When are we gonna just admit alot of the 2000s was just...tacky and full of bad taste with very little redeeming qualities?

I was in high school during that era and didn't listen to any of that crap. I had Sandisk Mp3 player at that time so I was downloading music off of Limewire. I was listening to music from Lil Wayne, Kanye West, T.I., Young Jeezy, Jay Z, T Pain, The Game , etc. I didnt really listen to any of the ringtone artists.

And let's not forget this is the era where fifty was feeling himself after completely burying Ja and he just started getting into it with everybody :mjlol: the worst era can't possibly have this many quality diss tracks. If you know you know

My memory might be failing me cuz this might be 05 but his whole career has been a big ass beef so it's hard to remember which came from which year:russ: but this man has GOAT level shyt talking. ".... Well, YOUR BROTHER SAYS....":mjlol:

Again, the man's shyt talking was unparalleled. It's almost as if the rapping was just supporting his shyt talking and not the other way around "We like Jimmy better anyway :lolbron: baaalllliiinnn"

As a 50 stan to this day this one hurt me lol I was like damn this one is too close for comfort. Fortunately, the one true petty God flipped this diss into promo by naming his album Curtis :russ:

"I might never sell that much, but you can bet your last two quarters I'll never tell that much" :dead:

Speaking of which, if I bring up Jadakiss in this era I just gotta drop this freestyle

When I heard him fukkin up I was like :dwillhuh: but once he got clearance from the DJ he smoked that shyt! One of the best freestyles from this era.

Now for those confused as to why Weezy had rightful claims as best rapper alive, you have to understand there was a complete difference between lollipop bullshyt Wayne and still hungry after 10+ years in the game mixtape Weezy. I'll close with these.

"Scarface bytch
Cocaine by the pie
Got them hoes sniffin
Like them hoes about to cry"

But this right here is it brehs :wow: bruh I was 17 riding around to this with tears in my eyes high as fukk like this is so beautiful :mjcry:I'm willing to go to war for my era fukk y'all talmbout

No, I remember the Sqad Up tapes and I remember when he used to not even use profanity in his raps. He was always overrated except for the people that came of age during this garbage era. He easily impressed all those 12 year olds with his metaphors about eating coochie and using the bathroom.
no point in arguing with u
