don't be mad because you can't move freely, slave.I have a mortgage and wife to think about before I make any moves like that. People living at home with their parents still can make brash decisions like that though. Cant even fathom if kids were in the picture how someone could make a snap decision like that.
Congrats!!! I think not having a job is like when you get into a relationship. All of a sudden people become interested. Good luck in finding a new position! And just know there are several ways to make money (legally) that you shouldn't feel forced to work a job you don't like. Never be afraid.

Do they give you two weeks before they fire you or lay you off?You could've at least given a two week notice
Point taken but now he has a bad reference for future employers.Do they give you two weeks before they fire you or lay you off?

Guess you could.LMAO well if they fired you, would you want to use that company as a reference? Like I'm sure you'd find a way to work around it.
But them fools contacted me based on my resume with my Bachelors and I didn't even apply for that position.[/QUOTE]What are you going to do with that degree?Did the same thing when I was 23. Quit my job, went back to school, and after i graduated was making pretty cool money and living comfortable.
Lost my last job though and pretty much had to start from scratchI'm working again and while it's not ideal it's full-time and I'm planning to go back to school for my English degree.

I've done this before. Unlike ya scared ass I have skills that keep me eating. Uncertainty is nothing new.Talk to me in month seven when you are facing an eviction, oh nm you wont since you wont be able to pay for internet

I've always wanted to walk out on a job.
I've quit a job before without having anything lined up (with two weeks' notice though); had some money in the bank to last me a few months. Damn near ran the clock out before I found a new one.![]()
