Dude paid for it but it was with the owners money.

There is no profit. Y'all nikkaz don't even understand why Biggie said "don't get high on your own supply".

Forreal these nikkas think paying for something you already own makes you a profit :why:

you fukking tard

yeah he gets $100 out of the shop, then $60 of goods and $40 out of the shop

BUT IN BETWEEN HE COMES BACK AND PAYS FOR THE GOODS WITH $100

so at the beginning and end, the amount lost/stolen is only $100

you don't steal money, then pay for shyt with the money, AND GET TO KEEP THE MONEY YOU PAID WITH

Smh. The goods are paid for with funds that we're stolen FROM THE SAME PLACE Lol. Owner gets nothing...it's all loss. He basically bought something from himself

No one's saying the owner makes money

we're saying the owner loses -100 whether the thief comes back to buy shyt or not

if he doesn't come back then you're down 100

if he comes back to buy shyt, then he's paying you with the $100 he stole
(-100+100 = 0)

and then he gets whatever shyt he bought, plus the change back (total of shyt he buys + change is 100)
(-100+100-100 = -100)

so the owner's at -100

We're talking about how much money was LOST not how much the thief gained :snoop:,

The thief walks away with $40 cash and $60 worth of good,

BUT the shopkeeper has lost his $100

AND approx $60 worth of goods due to the fact he made no profit on it because he paid for the goods Twice with the $100 the thief stole from him

No breh. The owner made nothing in the entire transaction because it was money spent that was his money already.

Dude stole money and purchased something that the owner had to purchase with his own money. Owner makes nothing because the transaction was all in house money.

Sure it's a scam, but you're double counting.

If Joey took $50 from a McDonalds register and then bought $50 worth of food, McDonalds is not out $100.

McDonalds lost $50. The cash exchanged for food was a fair transaction.

fukk you're stupid.

Let's say the thief spends the money elsewhere. Then walks in with his own $100 bill.

How much does the owner lose then?
