Why would a 17 and 7 in his rookie year center come off the bench ?

If okafor is with the 76ers to start the season, you cant start him and Simmons as your starting center andpower forward. Simmons at this stage is power forward, his lack of shooting won't allow him to be a small forward unless you want defense constantly collapsing on Okafor/Embiid daring Simmons to shot further negating the lack of shooting the 76ers as a whole have. ....

I'm trading Embiid. I'll just call it a loss and try to get a pick for him or something. Still have too many bigs in the rotation so i'll move Noel to the bench. I'll start Saric and he'll be the stretch 4 and Simmons at the 3. Saric compliments Simmons because Simmons can't shoot. Simmons would be the primary ball handler for most of the time, kinda like Lamar Odom. Sixers are too young so i'll bring in some vets thru free agency. A cheap rent-a-guard like Ramon Sessions and Marcus Thornton. They won't mind playing in Philly since they're journeymen anyway.

I'd keep them all. They've had success finding unknown wings who play pretty good. Embiid ain't played a single game yet. You don't know what Simmons is yet. You sort of know what you have in Noel and Okafor. Noel is not going to be a superstar. He could be a great back up though. Okafor I don't see him being great either. But also greatness usually comes with opportunity. I think it was stupid to constantly draft big after big, but we here no, so make it do what it do.
