If you read the full quote he might have a slight point about those guys messing up the market. I know they're "the only game in town" to some but still guys signing those low NXT developmental contracts is making WWE think they can just offer these guys anything.

WWE tried to get Balor for years. The year before he came, they supposedly pitched him as a tag team with Neville. His price went up with time. AJ was offered developmental level deals numerous times over the years. When Bullet Club caught on and WWE saw a need to raid, he cashed in and kept his name & character. When Punk went to OVW in 2005, WWE offered developmental deals to Bryan & Joe that were turned down. Young Bucks point is that don't take the first offer WWE gives you just to say you work for WWE.
