See how they try to trick grown ass people :childplease:

We are adults, we have had social interaction from kindergarten on up we are alright. And at the office it’s usually fake interactions with people you don’t even like.

And excuse me :what:

Even if your company doesn’t let you come back, create your own working environment and invite some people over

“Hey Steve, I know it’s 2pm on Tuesday but hey come through and watch me work these spreadsheets for the next 3 hours” :pachaha:

These CEOs are realizing that it’s the people that make the company work not the boss or the product

No one is missing out. Now there may be some networking that you're missing out on. But people, and more and more young people, are valuing their personal time and mental health, over the day to day hustle of being in a office. The fine print is that these real estate moguls, the owners of these skyrises and office buildings, are seeing the decreased money that will be coming in. It's still coming in now, because if you're in a lease you're in it. Once many of these leases are up though, a lot of companies will be looking to either downgrade the space they are currently in, or finding a smaller cheaper space that supports remote working.
I see people who do an amazing job of networking on social media. Being in person is still the best way but it's not like it's a massive void that hasn't been filled.

The right way, the wrong way and the Max Power way
Depending on your career and your career aspirations you may or may not be losing out.

It truly depends on the individual.

The future should adopt a hybrid/optional working model, those that want to be in the office (and there are a lot) can be in the office and those that don't can stay at home.

I actually agree for the sake of networking and just learning from your coworkers. Sure you can slack or zoom but it's not the same.

With that said- I love working from home. It feels good to be able to sleep until the last minute, roll out of bed and go straight to my desk. I can take a shower whenever I want, go to the gym, run errands etc
