what is mastering?

mastering is a science, mastering is an art

mastering is the final stage in the making of a song. It's the last step after mixing. Kind of like sweeping a floor, then you mop to bring out the shine.

Yup. Only half that rich gang joint was mastered. Some of the tracks weren't even mixed it seemed

I don't know the difference between mixing and mastering. But I prefer the mixing/mastering on the mixtapes. On Trilogy the drums and percussion sound harder and louder and not as rewarding. HOB mixtape bumped but there was more emphasis on treble. For the album it was mixed like a Dr. Dre album which is bad for Abel. The music has different emotions and should feel different.

Yeah see Trilogy, it remastered HOB to sound alot better bass wise while keeping the treble, it was really nice

Eh, at least there's still Future and Migos dropping this year. This was weak. I was hoping for some dope beats at least. Gucci released at least five mixtapes this year which were all better than this shyt.

shyt sounded better after my second listen but I'm still feeling the second half way more

I take back what I said about Can't Tell, I wasn't fukkin with the beat at first but that hook Thugga verses Tip and Boosie came right too

But the second half is something special brehs

Knocked Off Stunna actually had a better verse than Thug on this But Thug verse is still nice.
