I'm up + SS3 = original slime season 3

That means Slime Season 3 is a blassic.
This isn't true. This is 300's version of Slime Season 3. There has been 3 different versions. The original SS3 (from December) had songs like Passing, Life & Sins, and an intro produced by Metro and Southside. In January, they switched the tracklist to all new songs, then that version got renamed I'm Up. This current tracklist is the work of Lyor and 300, we probably won't ever hear the real original Slime Season 3. But they're all separate tracklists, it's not like they had one big tracklist and split it into two projects.

Its goddamn shame how Lyor is holding back classic shyt for no reason. The sole reason I'm a lil dissapointed with this is the fact that I know this could have easily been a 16-17 track classic with all the shyt he has stashed away. Should a gave him a greenlight like LA Reid did Future.

At this point I'm over it. The 8 tracks we got were flames.

It's album time.

Lyor is smart I ain't gon lie. At some point thug flame gon burn out creatively. Happens to everyone. By holding back shyt you got something to sell to people later on down the line when the regular people catch up to what's going on.

That said he still a culture vulture.
He gon give just enough crumbs to the real ones to hold us over from here on out

It's not a secret that's the approach he's taking here... If you had 200 sounds leak and needed to salvage your career you would be left with few options so a conservative approach with future projects makes sense.

It's def time for the albums though.

got to do what you gotta do when you got a fanbase that wont buy your shyt. Thugga has a lot of cross over potential. He needs to make the leap so he can actually sell records

Uhhhhhhh you might have to speak for yourself pleighboi....

I actually work with teens so I'll admit I got put onto him by the youth-dem... I was very :russ::mjlol::mjpls: at first... His look, the tone of his voice.. Just knew he was some trash ass young fly by night artist :manny:

And then I sat down in the late summer/early fall of 2014 and played Rich Gang Tour part 1....

I was blown away by what I heard..

The flows

The incatracies

The production

His harmonazations and pronunciations of words

It's refreshing.. The only other young artist that excited me that much was K.Dot.. K dot is more of a traditional MC though..

Thug is dope man.. I'm 32

For people saying it was short. IM up was also part of the original SS3. So SS3 is really a combo of the 2 projects. At least thats what im hearing :yeshrug:
