I'm down to hear it. Has Kendrick ever worked with melodic rapper? I'd be interesting to hear his approach.

The way he switches up the tone of his voice leads me to believe Kendrick has the potential to use his voice as an instrument..
It wasn't. SS3 and I'm Up are completely separate projects. I explained a few posts up, but these are the three different versions of SS3:For people saying it was short. IM up was also part of the original SS3. So SS3 is really a combo of the 2 projects. At least thats what im hearing
Original SS3 (December 2015): Had an intro produced by Metro and Southside and these two songs
I'm Up (January 2016): The original SS3 tracklist was scrapped and replaced with all new songs. At this point it was still named SS3 until Thug changed it to I'm Up.
300 SS3 (March 2016): This is when 300 stepped in and helped come up with the current tracklist.
I'm an older listener so I can appreciate the genius that is "I'm up"..
A lot of the younger cats that put me onto thug just want bangers... Bangers on bangers on bangers
I can't knock them either because that's what they've been indoctrinated into, however, an artists depth is just as important and I'm up showed some versatility I've been craving from Thug..
My People, King Troup, My boys, Family show a clear focus on content that a lot of the bangers lack
In order to make a great album you need great songs. Everything can't be a banger lol... SS3 is full of bangers
