The question on everyone’s lips is “Why him?” and thus far there have been few plausible theories. It’s highly unlikely that Cohen has been brought in to negotiate new rates with rights holders UMG, Sony Music and WMG, when his relationships with those companies have been questionable at best. Insiders feel he possesses neither the business acumen nor a basic understanding of the economics involved to make this deal himself.

Dame tried to tell y'all.

Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven
Cohen really ditched 300 after a honeymoon because he couldn't secure a distribution deal...???

:mindblown:
he ditched them cause they ain't making no fukking money

they getting a lot of press and radio spins, but outside of fetty wap, none of them nikkas selling shyt

trust if they was all doing 150k first week, his ass wouldn't have gone anywhere.. matter of fact, they wouldn't be begging for distro if they was selling either

Fetty and thug will be picked up by someone for sure if they dont wait to long, migos already on good music

Do people still need a DISTRIBUTION deal in the digital age tho?!!?:what: cant muthafukkas buy songs online now in multiple languages through websites through Itunes and Amazon. Cant you print up CD's and ship them to stores if you wanted to?!!?

Distribution of music?! In a digital age?!!? :dahell::patrice: I know I'm not crazy. I figure marketing is more important.

Streamed platinum. But regardless he underwhelmed for the number of hits he had at one time. If Lyor was satisfied with platinum streams he'd keep 300 pushing so he could keep pushing Fetty.
Platinum is platinum. If it was that easy then way more artists would be doing numbers. And you can't count on one artist to bring in money. He was running a label not managing just one artist
