The fact that @Willstyles is going for the corny method of pulling at sentimental heartstrings shows that he doesn't have much of an argument. We all have black female family members and relatives and for him to imply that we don't care about them is a lie and disrespectful. And it's horrible posting because he intentionally overlooks the main arguments and just regurgitates feminist rhetoric that has nothing to do with the discussion.

I won't dismiss the experiences of another black person or @Willstyles concern for his female family members. I've seen my sisters have similar experiences and share his concern. I never said that they shouldn't go to the police. But promoting and supporting specific street harassment laws that will be used to disenfranchise an entire race and throw innocent black men in jail (most likely from white women's false accusations) is a problem.
