Saying Hello can cause alarm.

If the person who said it is ugly. I think this is what this is about. You wouldn't be #YouOKSissing if Idris Elba stepped to you.

It's way bigger than saying hello, none of the women in the video in the op complained about saying hello, not have I. The person arguing with me told me that if a man is talking to me about the things he'd like to do to me sexually, a complete stranger mind you, that I should just put up with it.

Well I said most. If you look halfway decent somebody is going to talk to you. She's obviously being extreme to the point of delusional. That's just basic social interactions

I'm speaking on the sexually explicit comments.

I asked are you going to put up with it, cause there is nothing legally you could do besides remove yourself from the problem. You didn't say what should happen to a person verbally harassing you on the street, so I guess you whould just take it.

Another question you did not answer:
what is this from @DarlingNikki don't post something from some where and not back it up? WHERE IS THE LAW that punishes VERBAL SH?

The woman in the tweet above you is complaining about being greeted.

Yes, you're right. Seriously, it's bigger than just saying hello, much bigger. But I read this yesterday, proving that women creep out men too.

This is all a bunch of horse shyt. If you were REALLY being harassed, then you can call the police. But since they aren't really being harassed they know most cops would roll their eyes when they hear the story.

Extreme? According to her, just saying Hi constitutes as street harassment to the females. How are we supposed to know what each of these women consider as Street Harassment? What is Street harassment? What should we do about it?

But are the police turning down reasons though? Wouldn't this just be another justification? Being backed by hoards of black women? :comeon:

I have never insinuated black women hate black women. I, mcdivit85, clearly state that black women have a lack of respect for black men in general :sas2:

Yes, non-black men harass women ALL THE TIME. But do you honestly think this law will be equally applied to said non-black men? :aicmon:

Peace

Note that I did say that I don't think that a law should be made about this, I don't want anyone to get arrested or fined. However, with every law that is passed there are people who will try to take advantage of it and use it for bad purposes. I'm not making excuses, but it has been like that since the beginning of time, people ain't shyt. Also, you stated that black women are the loyal apologist to white supremacist, therefore, I can only assume that you think black women hate black men. I do believe you are right that if a law is applied that black men will be unequally targeted and that is the main reason why I think there should be no law applied to this. My first comment was really based on the video, which didn't say anything about involving the police or government. I don't think its a bad thing to ask "are you okay, sis" if you see a women being harassed.

why are all black men being accused of this maybe not by you buts these Trollops on twitter be pointing the finger at black men when it's raining:comeon: where were they when that cac from opie and Anthony was doing street harassment ?

I can't really speak on any of this because I don't have twitter or frequent twitter. As for the Opie and Anthony issue, are you sure not one black feminist addressed this, it was a very popular subject when it occurred. Maybe their comments were not really heard due to the fact that there were more popular media outlets speaking on the issue. However, if they did not come out about this issue, I agree with you. Every man, regardless of race, who engages in street harassment should be equally put on blast. Honestly, I just think our community needs to just express how street harassment isn't acceptable. I think the more we express our dislike for it, the behavior will decrease. I don't think there is a need for laws to be made.

Why are we the only women on the planet who have our men fight against our protection?

Oh word? Arab, Asian and Hispanic women go to White daddy to fight against the very existence of their men?

:dahell:at this thread.

Why is it so gatdamn difficult for (some) black men to comprehend the concept of protecting black womanhood? Why are these men ok with strange men yelling sexual obscenities and insults at their mothers, daughters, sisters, wives, girlfriends, aunties, female friends? Why is this even a discussion? Why are we the only women on the planet who have our men fight against our protection?

No one is OK with it, but the MOMENT you pursue trying to make it illegal to TALK on the street, I'm shutting that shyt down.

Campaign all you want, but if you wanna bring legislation into this then you can go fukk yourself.

If these women are against cat calling, creepiness, unwanted sexual advances, and stalking, I have no issue with that. That kinda stuff makes me thank God everyday that I was born a man and don't have to deal with that crap.

But this one here needs to get over herself. A friendly, non-threatening "hello" is not harassment. If that's the case then I was harassed today by a female tourist that stopped me on the street to ask for directions. :mjlol:

Some people will spout out any bullshyt to feel superior to others. :beli:

That is one of the most ridiculous things I've read. I don't consider that to be street harassment. Street harassment is to me are things like following a woman around, not taking no for an answer, and etc. That chick is an idiot.

This may be true for you, but she considers it Verbal street harassment. A man could be staring too long at a woman, and she might consider that street harassment.

BREHS, You might as well start meeting chicks online cause it could turn into verbal street harassment on the streets. Don't let the LAW git behind this! they trying to turn Black Men into herbivore men like in japan.....
