Pulp Fiction. No doubt one of the most layered, well thought out films of all time.

I really dig the ambiguity. You can basically add in your own thematic narrative - Tarantino just leaves you with a ton of interesting details and concepts and you have to connect the dots.

After watching pulp fiction for teh thousenth time... Ive decided that the biblical narrative in the film is key. Vincent Vega saw the missed shots as a non divine occurrence and gets shot up the next day. His presence aint even important by that point.. him and Jules were given a second chance but only Jules could capitalize :leostare:

Objectivity breh. if I gotta pick between Tango & Cash or Schindlers list I know what I'm picking to watch but I also know Schindlers list is the superior movie by leaps and bounds

I don't think Psycho is rushed
yea that one was great

but north felt rushed. like they were on mt rushmore..and then like 2 seconds later theyre cuddled up kissing and its over.

just was odd to me.

I enjoyed the ending to vertigo as well.. though i've seen a lot of people hate on it :manny:

Yeah I agree with you on North by Northwest. That one was jarring as hell although the movie is still not to be fukked with. I like the ending of Vertigo too. It's a nice bit of a shock and just good writing

I'd add "The man who knew too much" on there as well (the jimmy stewart one).. was just an abrupt ending. Though of the dozen hitch films i've seen that was my least favorite.

Straight up, first time I saw Vertigo it was my least favorite but that was 4 or 5 years ago and I feel like I'll have a different view of it now
