He didn't have a lot to work with.

Kerley was his only professional caliber WR he was throwing to and he seemed to be OK when he wasn't hurt

That's true but it wasn't peaches regardless. He really needs to work on somethings and it just doesn't happen overnight.

He wasn't great out there at times but aside from Kerley those WRs were

I can't remember a worse receiving corps in the last 20 years
I agree, they were bad. I was a big proponent of that as well but it's better for Geno's career if he sits for a year or two. It just can't be to someone average like Sanchez.

I really doubt geno will be anything more than an avg ass qb (and imo its his ceiling). really hope Im wrong, but some of his brainfarts are some of the WOAT.

some of his mistakes isnt just throwing to the wrong guy or mixing up routes or just making bad decisions to throw into double coverage. its instinct/awareness fukkups that shouldnt be made in high school, let alone the NFL

Dude played like the rookie he was. He had good moments and bad ones. Geno gonna be a good QB for a long time, Jets gotta get some damn recievers

Folks unreasonably high ass expectations for 1st and 2nd year QBs is just....wow... Geno has looked both good and bad. He's a rookie. What do folk expect? Was he supposed to beast with Kerley? :mjlol:
Agree with both of these. He is a rookie and had no weapons whatsoever. I've been saying for the longest that that last QB draft class had spoiled people. Everyone looking for RG3, Luck and Wilson every year.

Jets' offense started playing better when Geno began using his legs:

When he got assertive, he was outright capable. Half his receiving core from last season will be completely out of football next season. The jets were 8-4 with Kerely in the line up who led the league in 3rd catches before he went down. Geno short circuited when Kerely was out of games. Imagine if he gets better receivers....he's going to be good.

nikkas act like Geno was supposed to come in and throw for 3,000 plus yards and 20 plus TD's and shyt as a rookie without decent weapons smh.
who is saying that tho ? you made up an opposite talking point and arguing with yourself now ? :what:

its not even the picks or anything...like Ive said, its about basic football instincts. at this point in a skill football players career, you either have them or you dont.
Ive never seen a qb try to hide the fukking football behind his back when hes about to get sacked before. ever. its just something you dont do, ever. after pee wee football....and definitely not inside your own 10 yard line.
