He just needed more continuity with his receivers. I don't like David Nelson but Geno started a good connection with him late in the season. I wanna see him pass to some studs.

They should make the NFL a 32 Week season.

I miss football already

I really see no issue with having a longer season. Obviously some players will get injured but that's the nature of sport. From what I've heard, the NFL's research doesn't indicate a marked increase in injury when comparing 16 to 18 games. I wouldn't mind seeing 20+ games and teams having to move forward with 2 quality QBs. It's true some statistics might go out the window but who cares we want want more football.

yes he watched film after games like lsu and TCU, but particularly his worst. he has talent and a great arm, but he just let stedman (who hes played with since before high school) bail him out a lot and didn't put in work with other guys outside of tavon and then jd woods his senior year. he made the wrong audibles at wvu on 3rd-and-short a lot of times because he thought he knew best and can make every throw, when it was obvious he didnt.

thats all true. im not hating on him. i dont see how you can watch him throw and not be impressed with his form and arm. hes studied brady since he was in elementary school. he obviously improved his decision making by years end and figured out how to use his legs to his advantage at the pro level. he will be better with weapons and you can tell him and nelson put in time as the year went on.

but geno rather draw graphite sketches of giraffes and falcons while sparkin one in college. thats the way he was. good dude.

When is year 2 a make or break year for a guy? Aaron Rodgers didn't even play for like 2 full years. Eli was pooh for the first 3 or 4 years. Damn. NY media expectations are brutal.
:what: :mindblown:

He sat on the bench for the first half of his first season, took the Gmen into the wildcard playoffs the next two, then won the Superbowl in his 4th.

Over exaggeration about quitting your job. Corny.

Second...what games did he play well with the unnamed scrubs you haven't even mentioned?

I`d say his game vs. Atlanta was a legit good game.

The 9/22 Buffalo game was good, 3 td's 2 picks, 331 yards and big plays when you needed them.

The win over New England was a good game in my eyes too.

I`m not saying good by the crazy fantasy football numbers league standards, but good for a rookie. More TD's than TO's and made big plays in crucial parts of the game to give his team the win.

thoughts on geno:

- he played like a rookie, had good and bad moments...
- has the arm and accuracy to make it in the league, but we wont know if he'll cut it or not until he gets some talent around him, especially wrs.... the jets better draft 2 wrs or go wr/te combo to help the cat out...
