Why do you think Sony is pushing the whole share and live streaming aspect of the PS4 so much?

Like duke said before me today we don't just play we comment and share too and Sony IMO is ahead of the curb in that regard

It's integrated in the system. You can upload videos directly to Facebook and Twitter right now. You can live stream to twitch right now, archiving isn't enabled for PS4 streams on twitch yet, but it's coming in the future.

people are looking at it like it's just playthroughs of very linear games. a lot of the popular youtubers are playing games like Minecraft and DayZ that offer more 'emergent gameplay'. a lot of those games also have a very steep learning curve, and many people probably only know how to play from watching others

The developers can't have a problem with this.

They probably take the videos being made about their games serious for feedback purposes. I know that Guerrilla Games is using user made videos on how to play the specific classes and how to counter spawn camping on their boards and providing them for players to refer to. They even made a thread for them and pinned it to the top of their board.

I'm confused as to where this shyt is coming from honestly.
