From what I hear about this from Broken Gamez and MWN, they only thing that this ID thing is doing is flagging shyt like official licensed songs and clips. Is it more to it? I heard they were going to look at playthroughs but a lot of guys vids are still up
publishers understand the benefits of allowing people to interact with their content this way. consumption goes hand in hand with collaboration now. you can't really fight it

) I had posted a video of my sister's wedding dance and got flagged for Copyright ID for the song playing in the background. At first I was like
, but then I saw a note on there saying the video was still viewable and playable. So I thinking the real issue is over who gets the ad money on flagged videos.

I agree that the content ID thing has gotten out of hand but the forced outrage over youtube putting an end to profiting off someone elses product is quite comical...I can understand someone who has gotten permission from the publisher to review their work being annoyed with this but the majority of these dudes have been making bread off of other peoples work without permission...You do not own the games you buy, you own disc, not the content on it...You do not have the right to stream full playthroughs of that content and receive any ad revenue...That's like posting a full length movie with your commentary and expecting to not be sued...
