Twitch has nothing to worry about.

Youtube technically has the resources to topple Twitch but the content ID policies is gonna prevent Twitch users from turning back.

And it will stay that way. The streamers are happy with Twitch, they aren't going to risk losing their audience by going to another platform. Anyone thinking this will hurt or kill Twitch is delusional.

Not to mention most of the popular Twitch creators already have large followings on YouTube anyway. This isn't really a gain for them.

Could have a major effect on new up and coming streamers which is who YouTube will likely target especially if they pay more

So I tested this out on PS4 when the update hits.

Quality is on par with Twitch, and it automatically uploads your play session to your Youtube channel by default. Pretty cool. Might try this out just to see if more random traffic/viewers stumble on it opposed to Twitch where it seems tough to get any kind of traffic without a big name.

If/when they allow you to do this straight from your PS4 and Xbox

that would actually be easy. a lot easier then trying to partner with twitch. youtube is already an app on xbox one. they could easily have it so that upload studio uploads your content straight to youtube if you chose to.
