What’s up with this Oladipo shyt?

It's very simple all you do is search all NBA players and then filter for:

• major leg injury (missing a whole season is a bonus)
• high usage rate
• low shooting percentage
• awful contract
• plays the same position as one of our prospects

Oladipo doesn't have a 4 year $144m contract though

I think with Olidipo you wouldn’t have to give up your main young pieces (RJ, Quickley & to an extent Obi) but for Beal you almost will certainly be giving up one of the three.

I rather have olidipo with Randle and keep those three.

I'm always skeptical of rumors that only pop up right before we play the team...also, I don't see the value of giving up assets when we can sign Oladipo in the offseason. Beal's worth a king's ransom that we're not in a position to pay; Chicago would be crazy to trade Lavine for anything less than a king's ransom; Oladipo can be had for nothing in the offseason.

Of course Knox and Ntilikina are available for those guys. If Leon Rose could make them key pieces for any of those three SG's (yes even Oladipo), we probably got a steal.

I mean, I guess not? Their pick is lottery protected but I believe that is the high school draft so more valuable than usual. The only perk to trading early is to see how it fits before giving him a huge contract if you waited to sign in off season.

What about Knox and the 23 pick? I’m curious where the line is for y’all. Cause i want him and he’s definitely an upgrade but I also agree with y’all who say we should save the assets for something better. It’s just that a bird in a hand... who know if there will ever be a better asset for us particularly.

Its not even about which player. I just dont see why not wait til the off-season? Hes a free agent then and you get to keep the picks. We might have two high lottery picks this year and most likely with one of them will be a position that oladipo plays. I would let the draft play out first and then evaluate free agents after that.
