I agree but his passing ability is decent enough. Essentially he can play 1-3. There's guy's in the league that make guys around them play better like LeBron and I think that's what the Knicks would want to look for and develop RJ into. (LeBron could play point) They tried it with Frank and that shyt ain't work. He's only a point. RJ showed that he can play both positions last season.

I want to see this with R.J. as main ball handler :lupe:

Me 2 although I prefer Quickley as a point and hope he transitions to that. RJ can still be the main ball handler though. They need to get my boy Iggy from the g leagues as well. I have a good feeling he could contribute a lot.

RJ doesnt need to be a point guard to develop chemistry with obi

RJ is not a point guard.
R.J. has traditionally been the main ball handler on his teams.

We need to see if he can be like a Jordan, Kobe, or Wade who played with low usage shooting point guards like Armstrong, Fisher, Chalmers

RJ needs to develop his skills first. Can we stop putting the cart before the horse? Let RJ prove he can dominate as a first option before you throw him into a lead ball handling role

Will this team actually run the O through him though? Dubious is still here:francis::mjcry:

Frank is in year 4 and is on four different coaches excluding Thibs so it makes sense that in year 3 they tried experimenting with him in different roles. RJ hasn't even had a full NBA season yet, let alone a season good enough to ask him to be a primary option as a ball handler and distributor :mjlol:

He's still here though bruh.......HE'S STILL HERE!!!!!:damn::damn::damn::damn::damn::damn::damn::damn::damn::damn::damn:
Nobody wants him. I'm sure they tried to trade him off and the GMs were like fukk no :mjlol:So they hired 3 forwards and are waiting for his contract to expire.

They probably tried to get a point and couldn't get anyone while Peyton's agent begged for the Knicks to take him back for cheap since noone wanted him especially after people lowkey know he's a knucklehead.

We having different discussions and for the record I don't think Frank was developed properly. But the point I was making was that even Frank wasn't thrown into different positions like that until year 3.

Stop lying. This is his play by play minutes distribution.

Stop making excuses for this nikka shyt is truly sad accept reality.

Rookie Year: PG 71%, SG 29%, SF 1%

Sophomore Year: PG 66%, SG 33%, SF 1%

Junior Year: PG 92%, SG 8%, SF 0%

I don't think that's true. I think Frank will have a long career and will be a contributor as a defensive playmaker. If the Knicks can't trade Frank it's because they don't want to lose him for pennies and not because they can't get anything for him

Edit:

I don't recall Frank getting so many minutes at sg his rookie season but ok. Also, I'm pretty sure we could say he played sf this last season
