We will see.
Kid had a legit WR in Garrett Wilson and couldn't get him the ball consistently.

The Broncos receiving situation is considerably worse. Or at least, has a lower ceiling.

It definitely has a lower ceiling, but Sutton and Mims aren't too bad.

That said, Garrett caught nearly 100 balls while being the Jets' only other real offensive threat besides Breece and that OL was a disaster, thanks in part to injuries and other crap.

I still think Denver goes QB in round 1 or 2, but if they want to do a cheap reclamation project, it's right there.

Zach has better arm talent right now than Russ. Zach has better arm talent than multiple starters in the league.

That does not mean Zach is better than Russ at playing QB by any stretch of the imagination, nor do I believe Zach is better at playing QB than Russ is right now.
Arm talent is a bit different than talent tho. Even then Im not sure this is true. Cuz arm talent takes into account all the throws and accuracy

As for Zach Wilson on the broncos, I think it's a mistake. Payton already didn't like Russ intermediate game, wait till he sees Wilson be wildly inaccurate on move the chain basic throws

As for Payton, dealing for Wilson makes the Russ fiasco look way more :mjpls: unless they draft a qb early.

This isn't pre draft Zach Wilson. We've seen him on the field and have a large enough sample size to know his "arm talent" ain't worth a damn.

If Denver drafts a QB Wilson will never see the field because Stidham will be QB2.

Think this trade means the Broncos aren't feeling the other QBs in this draft outside the top guys (so Nix and Penix)
So they'll go with Stidham as QB1 for this year and then try a swing at QB in next years draft

Wilson will likely start in Denver and will play well.

This was one of the first things I thought of as well. Payton wants a QB and best believe is keeping his eyes open for one.

Mobile 6'2 QB with one of the league's strongest arms is a lot to work with. If dude isn't that guy, then they'll tank and find a QB next year with maybe a top 5 pick. The Sean Payton era in Denver doesn't legit start until they find him a legit younger QB to work with. Now if they don't do something this year, I do think next year when they do get a young QB and they still suck Sean Payton will be ran out.

It's really the Justin Fields situation. Zach will be tested much quicker in Denver than Fields in Pittsburgh, but with better coaching I think both will have better opportunities.
