Zion is not Happy with the Pelicans. Family would like to see him on another team.

My Pops Forever RIP
If I’m NO, I’m trading Zion for Cade Cunningham and future picks. Just start the heartbreak right now and we all know Zion is on that Blake Griffin route when it comes to his health.
If it’s that easy to get out of New Orleans, why wouldn’t Cunningham do the same thing? Agents know a pushover when they see one.

Zion is a superstar, it doesn't matter how many games he's played. All that he's got three years left means nothing. Kawhi said trade me, they traded him, AD said trade me, they traded him, Harden said trade me, they traded him. Superstars get what they want.

The difference is those players signed rookie extensions with their original teams (minus Harden) and only demanded trades years after. No one has ever turned a max rookie extension, so Zion would be the first if he actually chooses to do so.

Would you take the gamble of turning down $150+ million dollars coming off your rookie contract?

There haven't been many superstars this early into their careers. There was Lebron, Luka, maybe Rose, maybe a couple others and Zion. Someone was gonna try this at some point. I'd argue Zion is top 5 most marketable players in the NBA right now.

These nikkas really think there’s only two cities in the NBA. I don’t get it. Make New Orleans into a contender. It’s a dope city to live in :dahell:

Even then, they never turned down the max rookie extension when it was offered them. That’s what the Luka hit piece the other day was laughable as everyone knows he isn’t turning $200 million coming off of his rookie contract.

Markets don’t matter in the NBA. Look at Giannis. He isn’t as marketable as Zion because he isn’t American and his English isn’t 100%. Yet he’s got commercials and billboards and all of that. The city that he plays in doesn’t matter anymore.

Exactly. Chris Paul in State Farm commercials and he’s in Phoenix. It doesn’t matter. These nikkas just want to live in LA or New York.

No NBA superstar wants to live in New Orleans. It’s not a basketball city and it’s a small market. If fatass Zion who’s as low key as it gets doesn’t want to live in a city with some of the best food then they are hopeless
