He's an inconsistent shooter with bad form. His shot doesn't look the same every time. His balance doesn't look the same every time. I don't know if he's ever going to legit turn that corner as a shooter.

He’s improved his step back and has even thrown a one footer into his arsenal. He’s much better from the line near 80%.
When we talk about Lonzo and his weaknesses shooting shouldn’t even come up anymore. Instead talk about his weak rim pressure.

That’s not his shooting. His FG% is low because he’s a high volume three point shooter with weak rim pressure (lacking attempts at the rim) and short range efficiency (floater range, 3-10 feet).
His actual shooting has been good.
40% from 10-16 feet
40% from 16 feet to the three point line
38% from 3PT line on 9.4 attempts per 36 minutes
80% FT shooter
He’s 40% on 6 C&S jumpers a game...
His issue isn’t shooting. His slashing and FT attempts can improve as long as he plays with consistent aggression and takes more shots as he has recently. As long as he continues to put in work in the weight room. Also, with coaching being used cutting to the basket on pin downs and attacking down hill on ball screens and transition. I’ve recently seen him learning how to use Zion gravity to sneak in for lay-ups.

Even when he wasn't a high volume three point shooter, his FG% was a^^ breh. Even then, you're basically proving my point still in that he's useless on offense if his 3 pt shot isn't falling. I understand that dudes are a fan of Lonzo and I am too, but let's keep it 100% about his game. He's a streaky, inconsistent C&S scorer. You forget that he scored 7 points the day before when the 3pt shot for him wasn't falling.
Since you want to use numbers in your argument, In 25 road games this season his FG% is 39.1% with a 3pt PG of 34.1%.
No one is saying that he won't get $20+ million a season, but I sure as hell wouldn't want to be the one to give it to him. I could make that same argument about a lot of other players who are going to get overpaid in the offseason and Lonzo isn't the only one. John Collins will likely get a max offer sheet and I wouldn't even give that to him.
Dudes complained about Hayward being overpaid this offseason, yet are whining when someone says the same thing about Lonzo

My biggest issue still is his inability to attack the basket. No way he should be averaging only 1.4 FTA per game. If he learns to attack and draw fouls that'll open up his game so much and will break his inconsistency as he has that to fall back on when the shot isn't falling. Then again that's the same thing I've been saying about him since rookie year. He's been shooting them at a much bettter clip this year so hopefully he focuses on finishing through contact this offseason. If he adds that to his game I could see him hitting all star level at some point.

He's shooting 38% on over 8 attempts per game. I'd say that's turning the corner. That isn't the problem with his game anymore. It's what he does when that 3 isn't dropping that is problematic. He needs to work on finishing inside and drawing fouls so that his scoring isn't so inconsistent on a game to game basis.
