:shaq2: i feel like it would be a close battle but the zulu would win in the end even tho hoplites were nothing to fukk it they mainly only knew how to fight head on

The zulu impi were so versatile with it you wouldn't know which way they was coming and like others said the bull horn tactic would best the phalanx not mention Zulus were physically superior just like Black athletes today
:dwillhuh:How the Zulu gnna reach the spartan infantry with 12 ft Spears and Calvary on their flanks . Not to mention archers raining down arrows on them .

That was the whole point of the Zulus bullhorn double-envelopment strategy. I think it would work quite well on the Spartans who were used to armies fighting them at their front. They wouldn't expect a simultaneously flank attack.

When I win I bring we with me
:coffee:
Anyone interested in military history already knows the general weakness of the Spartans in relation to what made them strong.

(actually i'd be more interested in how Zulus manage Cavalry warfare on a massive scale)

Calvary would crush them on the flanks

Dude that was literally my closing position ...even put it in bold:stopitslime:

In terms of missile attacks, meh:hhh: .....already considered that.:comeon:
Ranged attack wouldn't be out of the norm for the zulu. Hell the Indians & Nubians stopped the roman war march. Zulus could fare fine against missile fire.
Spartains wouldn't bring anything particularly novel to the table.

That's why I brought up cavalry as the one thing I was more curious about. which is what I stated in my quote above. :ufdup:READ

EDIT:

Also note I never gave a definitive position either way. I know enough to know that there are to many variable to take into consideration. The only reasonable inquires to be made is what tools, tactics, and precedents each has at their disposal.
