What's so difficult about avoiding contact with other Black people, being inside and not outside when a fight is happening is one way to minimize contact and conflict, standing in the midst of the fight and filming the fight is not.

You grow up in complete poverty in LA or NYC you have safety-nets, school programs, community programs, school to college pipelines, etc.
In Franklin County, Mississippi you're shyt out of luck and probably 3 generations deep into poverty.

Pittsburgh (where I was born and raised and lived in the majority of my life before moving to NYC) is like this in the black community. It's home to the poorest black community in America and some of the poorest areas in America...it's one of those places where you have no choice but to move away to another city/town because opportunities are so devoid there.

Actually it isn't that bad of an idea.
Why do you think there is significantly less crime in middle class and upper middle class neighborhoods?
Part of it has to do with the minimum contact the people have with each other, when the majority of the neighborhood is working 40-80 hours a week every week, with family responsibilities, and a few hobbies, there isn't nearly as much contact time.
You'll find that unemployed people who don't have a lot going on have far more time to war with each other, than people who don't.
This is an incredibly simple analysis that definitely has a lot of other factors in it, but minimal contact is not that bad of an idea.

I speak from experience. I grew up in a fairly upper class neighborhood. Not even middle class.

What's happening though with gentrification is crime and poverty is being moved from the cities and into the suburbs. Happened already in Jersey.

i guess people think projects / apartments = hood.

they have places in the rural south that are straight [rent] houses that cost the same as an apartment in a big city that are hood as fukk. same politics as the hood just different scenery.

shyt, Friday (the movie) took place in a suburban neighborhood.

There will be more scenes like this as America starts to resemble Biff Tannen's Hill Valley in Back to the Future 2 in the next decade.

The suburbs are becoming the new hoods.

Whites are moving back to the cities, black people are getting priced out to suburban or rural areas. The property values plummet, schools lose funding, businesses move and close, various social/civil services stop operating, etc, etc, etc.

makes sense..if he's telling the truth taking that into consideration and I read he only had the knife cause groups of faggits armed with bats were coming to attack his sister(one of the lil girls in the original fight) i don't think he should be charged with murder either...maybe manslaughter at the most....the situation was shameful,unfortunate and should have been handled better but cacs/c00ns law officers are being too heavy handed....the most severe charges other than brother whom stabbed the victim is the gang of punks whom initiated the chaos/came to redshort's mother house wielding bats(like they were on the set of the Warriors movie)to allegedly jump his little sister then attacked him

White flight is toward urban areas now.
It's incredibly unfortunate for the people who thought they were "making it out" and purchased homes in suburbs only to have them lose their value when everyone moved back.
