Once again, this is exactly what im saying. Do u not ever ask yourself WHY? Why is 90% of every song on urban radio poisonous, negative trash? Songs like Dej Loaf rapping lines like "i hate nikkas....ima Nazi". T.I rapping "no murder, no dough, no convo (if it aint about the money)". LOTS of ppl listen to the radio and these are the messages they are taking in. Why does it have to be mostly negative? Why doesnt the good music get the same opportunity to be heard by a bigger audience as the songs about black men killing black men and selling dope in the hood?

We all know why, those of us that are not 90s babies anyway..

Look, those controlling Black music are not Black, so they have zero interest in actual Black issues. We have a product that only we can produce well, they are only looking at the bottom line. Negativity and sex sell, pushing Black power music to white consumers doesnt..
Id like to think that the conspiracy to destroy Black America through music is more a byproduct of them chasing the $$$$, but others feel differently.

Also in the early 90s there was so many different types of Hip hop all living and thriving side by side, from positive Black power rap, church rap, artsy fartsy rap, comedy rap, horrorcore, hip house, dancehall rap etc. this is when Black men were in control, now we only have trap bullshyt..

Breh, i think the "conspiracy to destroy black america" came 1st. They saw how influential rap could be so they slowly turned it from positive, party, socially conscious music to the poison we hear today. Along the way they found that they could also make a profit also so that was a bonus. But i think the initial reason for the takeover of hiphop was to keep the black community in a dumbed down, zombie-like mindstate. And its working. Maybe @Wild self could post a vid on COINTELPRO

The Killing of the Black Mind state, or Profiteering off Black artwork..which one came first, and which one was a bonus? Id say the cash came first for the money grubbing Jooz, it always does. The negativity I feel was a bonus they got from regular cacs who felt they were onto something.

Chicken and egg scenario to me..but what we do know for certain, is that it worked wonderfully for them. They hit us with a triple combo. We did all the work, made money for them and killed ourselves doing that work for them.

Ignorant music has a MAJOR affect on the black community. How old are u? Black culture has become the ignorant, ratchet, materialistic stereotypes rap music glamourizes. You are blind breh. Or are u white?:patrice:
Not only that but it creates the misperception that were all ignorant. When white kids who arent around us like that listen to the music and see the videos they assume were all like that. These nikkas even call themselves savages:snoop:

This also. Ive made this point before. About how we are seen by other races but i always get the "why are u worried bout wat a cac thinks?" Or "why do we need white validation" smh. Posters here trying to act militant but dont get the bigger picture. BLACKS ARE AT THE BOTTOM OF THE TOTEM POLE. Why? Because of the stereotypes perpetuated through the media. When u hear the word "thug" the 1st image that comes to mind is a black male. When u hear the words "ghetto" "hood" "gangbanger" "savage" the images of blacks come to mind to people of all races. Even myself,a black man equate the word "thug" with the black male. Call me a c00n but its true. Sad but true.and i hate that i thnk like that because the black people i know are all normal, working, ppl doing something with their lives. Its a shame that a black persn that talks and dresses properly is "acting white" this mindset is mainly because most images of blacks on tv and radio is the "ghetto" and ratchet" type
Not only that but it creates the misperception that were all ignorant. When white kids who arent around us like that listen to the music and see the videos they assume were all like that. These nikkas even call themselves savages:snoop:

Music can and does effect your mood. This is a fact and not debatable. There is a science behind it. Negative lyrics over depressing or aggressive beats will bring out a predictable human reaction. There is a reason why folks used to get into fights back when dj would play the lil jon songs in club. It was like clockwork. Music affects your mood and your mood affects your actions. Its really that simple. Only listening to degrading and negative music will affect you and thats why we dont hear variety on hip hop stations anymore. its by design. from a music theory and production stand point almost 100% of music played on black radio stations is in the minor keys. pop music for example uses major keys and "happy" chords. Thats why you "feel" better when listening to pop radio. its not the song its the key its in. back in the early mid 90s it wasnt uncommon to hear way more tonal variety in hip hop and rnb production.

So whom exactly is making uplifting and positive music? No one is producing it anymore, thats why its not on the radio.

Do you think positive music being played on the radio is going to:

-stop poverty in the inner city
-fix the disproportionate school funding in the inner city
-prevent racial police profiling.
-prevent police brutality
-fix world hunger
-stop systematic racism

It's not radios responsibility to play positive songs. We can't use the radio as the moral compass and expect them to be responsible for raising the youth. The gatdamn parents should be more of an influence than a rapper they never met.

Again, there are tons of positive music. YOU are just completely out of touch and don't know where to find it @PhonZhi

This too. But sadly, most blacks are even unaware that these poisonous rappers are PURPOSELY being pushed onto us by these whites/jews. Thats a subject nobody wants to talk about here on The Coli for sum reason
Wait...but Shmurda's hot nikka was literally one of the few rap songs that got hot without any label support

So its not the "big bad scary " labels fault that people gravitate naturally towards that music

I swera yall nikkaz are quick to take themselves far away from responsibility or their part in this

Why are the biggest blockbuster movies mostly consist of sex, money, murder, violence and over the top action?

Why does the news continue to bring negative stories

Why does Jerry Springer which was one of the greatest and most popular Television shows of all time perpetuate negativity in every episode
