There is one way to avoid this -- fire Ireland and make Philbin himself the GM like in New England. But I don't know if that's realistically on the table.

Philbin so far does not have a good track record for talent evaluation and development. He has no business being a GM

Charles Clay and Sam Brenner stand out as successes.

Can't really think of anyone I would consider a Phiblin failure as far as talent development. I guess we could put Jordan and Gillislee into that category, assuming they should have played more snaps? Maybe Egnew, though that was more a drafting failure.

I wouldn't be sad if all 3 of our starting LBs were gone. Misi sucks. Wheeler and Ellerbe preformed far below expectations.
was just about to edit my post. I think it was Ellerbe I saw who might get cut.

Think he has the stat for the most missed tackles in the league this season

The QB coach was a promotion from within so that shouldn't count.

The OL coach was a former Aggie, so that was a Sherman recommendation hire.

As for the rest...have they all been failures? I mean, would you say our DBs performed poorly this season?

the ones we drafted 2nd and 3rd round have been a failure so far.

beside that's not the point. Philbin simply doesn't have the personel experience to be GM

fukk that shyt man. Ross gave Ireland a "vote of confidence" after the first preliminary report a month ago. He's not getting fired for that shyt.

This is just insiders trying to milk a story for every drop they can
