If you look at the protests, Black people are showing solidarity, there's no increase of violence or death, this is just a continuation of the violence and death that's already plaguing Baltimore. Violence existed before the protests and will continue to exist afterwards, the only people who will allow "more violence" to undermine the protest efforts are people who are probably not all that bright to begin with if they think that protests will rally all Black people together including those that lead lives of crime. criminals do criminal things, including but not limited to killing people.

your post is basically, "if you want people to take the protests seriously then Black people need to completely stop killing each other", which is idealistic and absurd. the conditions that led to these people being killed are still in place, and a protest doesn't somehow 'suspend' reality.

It's the same old story of the impossible standard of perfection in order to deem black people worthy of justice, I posted the following in some other threads on police violence

you ain't heard? for a black person to get justice, he must be a "perfect", "individual".

Baltimore isn't a shythole, if you visited there is no way you would be saying that.

As far as the violence, shyt is gonna happen but its not the 90's, don't let the news bullshyt you. Out of 622,104 people, seeing a high of 235 killings in 2104(a four year high) is not a dangerous place. Especially when you take into account most of those people know each other, and it was about money, or women.

People love to exaggerate shyt.

Off topic but I was reading about crime rates, and noticed that a lot of places like NYC are seen as safe, but when they mention things like homicides, they are referring to Manhattan, not the whole metro area which includes the outer boroughs. I wonder what the true number is when they include the whole city. Of course Manhattan would be low because its a rich area now. To me its a lot of trickery going on, and most fall for it.

Edit: I just read they do include the boroughs, so now I'm really confused because last week I read the opposite. This number shyt is a game that politicians use, but they don't even agree on them. shyt is a Joke.

I'm not saying its a tourists town but Baltimore has a lot more going for it then other towns. Major Universities are there, Johns Hopkins hospital is there, Under Armour is there, and other well known businesses. That's why I don't consider it a shythole.

As far as Maryland itself, its the richest state in the country. As far as blacks, PG county is the home of the wealthiest blacks in the country. Again, Maryland, and Baltimore isn't a shythole.
