I think that ignores that those dealers are friends, family members, providers, etc. I also think that ignores all the rallies & local orgs working already to "stop the violence". Is it impossible to love your brother? I feel sorry for you if it is, change starts with one step, but you say that first step doesn't solve every poblem instantly so why take it?

Because if everyone was on it about reporting crimes, there wouldn't be so many unsolved crimes in black communities, we all the know the police aren't goin out of their way right.

I guarantee that is not what I'm trying to imply, I just know change starts at home, that's where you have to start. imo

I'm not talking about the white cops killing us because I have no idea how to change it, I mean there literally are hundreds of ways but it's always them against us and they will always try to find an excuse.

At the nd of the day all we can do is try to change shyt the best way we know how.

I'm sory for some reason saying black lives should matter to black people and we should respect the lives of our brothers somehow makes me a racist, but you can call me w.e you want.

I have hope in our unity, f the police there is no hope for them.

Change has been boiling at home since we've gotten here. It's time for America to uphold her end of the bargain. Some stats:

According to FBI statistics 7361 Blacks were killed by fellow African-Americans in 1991. In 2011, it dropped dramatically to 2447 African-Americans. Among Black youth, rates of robbery and serious property offenses are the lowest in more than 40 years. Since 1980, the black poverty rate has fallen by 5.3 percentage points while the overall poverty rate has increased by 2 percentage points. The black poverty rate has fallen by 16.3 percent while the overall poverty rate has increased by 15.1 percent. In fact, the black poverty rate is the only one that fell during this period.

So what should we do, I've done the protests, I'm raising strong black kids who know wtf is up. How do we ever make America home? Where we can walk down the street and not be a suspect? I'm glad things are seeming to get better here, but how to we get to the point where black people are just as American as anyone else, or is that even possible.
