Nah, your responses come off like some wack respectability politics nonsense that seem to imply we will only be worthy of or will receive proper respect when we are perfect - perfect being some distant, unreachable goal despite the fact Blacks are being more "respectable" today than the days of those martyrs you speak of. That type of talk leads to stagnancy and letting white supremacy and capitalism off the hook.
