No doubt I think he needs rehab and hopefully he gets. He's still young and can make changes but the fact that he beat down a teammate like that shows theres way more to this storyOkay
Actually there's a lot of good programs for rehabilitation in prison, nikkas just don't take advantage of them. Local colleges offer degrees, job training, job prep training, work release, post incarceration programs etc...it's up to the individual to take advantage of those programs
And juveniles are notoriously worse with fighting, violence and bullshyt in juvenile detention centers vs adult facilities.
Another debate with this situation is how would it be beneficial to society and the community to send this cat to a place where fighting like what he did in the video is almost mandatory. I don't see how sending someone to a max prison where he'll most likely have to hone his violent fighting skills is beneficial to everyone involved long term but that's an entirely different argument

Wouldn't want dude to get life in prison or something crazy.

Im not saying wait till we have the facts. The video is enough proof he needs to get punished but theres more to this story"let's wait until we get all the facts"

I don't think prison helps people tbh. I don't think it's necessary.
There's jobs out here for convicts. its all about how people go about their situation and understanding the predicament they're in.
Might just be the situation locally but numbers don't lie and in real life I could gather 10 working black brehs out here and at the very least 3 or 4 would have a back ground. Most will have blue collar gigs tho.
A lot of nikkas with felonies just don't want to do shyt or work, just live that street life with fast money, getting high, and fukking hoes. I got my cousin a job with me at my plant starting off at 19 with full benefits that increased in pay at a decent rate over time. This quit about a year later and his exactly words were "I outgrew this place" on top of all the bullshyt him and his baby momma was bringing to the job. Not surprisingly soon after he ended up back in the joint on a bid for a dope case. The sad part is this shyt is a regular occurrence for cats out here

The foundation of the African American is shoddy at best. A good deal of us (both men and women) have never been equipped with the tools and resources that allow us to properly control our emotions. Some of us are VERY angry and value our possessions to the point where we'd kill for them. Doesn't matter what the object...people kill for getting their shoes stepped on.
I'm not saying I agree, but I empathize. I wish the victim a full and speedy recovery, but this young man needs to be viewed as a person with a mental issue and not just some brute who beat the hell out of his classmate. A white man can go shoot up a school, mall or movie full of innocent victims because they are mad at ONE person, but this guy somehow is an animal?

Both of these brothers can recover from this. The victim has a broke nose and a mild concussion, the offender has a aggravated charge that will most likely be lowered to a lesser charge. They both can and hopefully will go in to lead normal lives
