He's a kid by every rule of law. I hate seeing kids charged as adults. The severity of his crime should not dictate his punishable maturity level. 17. Can't vote, can't drink, can't smoke. In most places he can't make his own decisions with a parent. He is not an adult.

I will say this. Over the years I've seen so many young black kids be wayyyyy fukked by the time they get to high school. Hell even middle school. Kids that are so bright and you try so hard to save em' then you realize it is beyond your control They never received the help that they needed.
