If Thomas can't play they may not even make it to GS, they'd be better off keeping Kyrie and weakening the C's in the process over trading for a pick that hurts them this season. There's a $700,000 difference between what Middleton/Brogdon make and Zizic, Thomas and Crowder, negligible at best.
