Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
If the Suns offered Bledsoe/Warren/1st round pick which would you rather have?

Bledsoe can't really shoot, the Cavs want a replacement for Kyrie that can hit the three, which is why the Bucks trade was there for them, both Middleton & Brogdon can shoot the three and guard multiple positions.

If Thomas is hurt and can't play it's a shytty deal for the Cavs who still want to compete. Explain how the Brooklyn pick helps the team get back to the finals if Thomas is diminished or misses the season. They have clear parameters for trading Kyrie - Get stating PG, get 3 and D wing, get a pick or prospect. Thomas being hurt means 1 of those isn't met and they would need more to assume the risk of trading for him.

You DID realize that IT was just a RENTAL anyway. And the Cavs knew he was going to be just a rental. This deal was for the Cavs to secure their future while be competitive for this season.

So, it's a rental because you say it's one? Nobody knows the future, especially not after how unkind the market was to PG's not named Wardell or Hilldred this summer.

The trade is still on, the cavs really want that nets pick

Celts will just have to give a lil more

If the CAVS are the ones desperately wanting that Nets pick...how is it the CELTICS need to give a little more? Ainge could say take it or leave it. And then what?

Optimistic But I Got Hands Tho
Something is not right ya'll. This is the article from July Isaiah Thomas will not require surgery on injured hip, according to Boston Celtics' Danny Ainge

Boston Celtics star Isaiah Thomas will not require surgery for the right hip injury that forced him into a premature playoff exit, team president of basketball operations Danny Ainge told the Boston Globe.

According to the Globe's Adam Himmelsbach, Thomas is on track to participate in the start of training camp this fall. The Celtics were optimistic all along Thomas would avoid surgery, but team must have welcomed the final word from doctors after the decision dragged into the offseason's third month.

"Isaiah is making good progress," Ainge told Himmelsbach. "He's out on the court; he's shooting. He's full-speed ahead on the stationary bike and working in the swimming pool. He's progressing nicely."

Celtics had a major medical evaluation overhaul with their staff this summer.

Something ain't adding up. If they fukked up this dude's career/finances by not telling him he needed surgery for selfish organization reasons...

You HONESTLY BELIEVE, even after LEBRON leaving that Dan Gilbert was willing to give Thomas a MAX DEAL??? You honestly believe that shyt?

:wtf:

PG's weren't getting maxes this summer, only Wall and Curry got them, everyone else got much less than they expected.

IT is open for the max deal after this season.... that was one of the reasons why Ainge was going to trade him anyway. Where you been?

I think Ainge tried to fleece the Cavs. Sell them damaged goods and hope he would of got away with it before the ink dries. It was smart on the Cavs to have IT to go a physical first, well common sense.
It wasn't smart on the Cavs, it's an NBA rule that after a trade is called in it's contingent on the players involved to pass a physical. There's been multiple trades throughout the years that feel apart due to someone failing a physical. I think the most famous one is Robert Horry for Sean Elliott that was killed.

Kyle Lowry was eligible for the supermax, they didn't even bother offering it to him and he had nobody else willing to sign him.

The market for Thomas & PGs in general is slim, the teams that will have space either have established PGs or young PGs they want to develop.

And that's the point. The Cavs wasn't going to give him a max deal, thus why he would of been a rental. Just for this season then a free agent. With LeBron bouncing, you think IT is going to stay and it's NOT for a max deal? Hell no.
