Boston homers are the worst. :scust:

It's clear the Cavs were led to believe Thomas would be ready to play fairly early in the season; probably December. Then Cleveland conducted their own physical and saw the hip is much worse than Danny said it was, so they're understandably telling them to ante up. :stopitslime:

You realize that would be illegal and the Celtics would get penalized if that was the case

Dan Gilbert is the one holding this up imo

So, how does it help their cause by trading for a player that will probably miss training camp and could need surgery during the season?

Cleveland can flip the Brooklyn pick for another asset if they want... there's been no indication Isaiah needs surgery

Based on Cleveland's mindset last season, everything will be about going into the playoffs healthy and they won't care about seeding

There's a better chance of Danny Ainge double-murdering Tatum and Brown than there is of the Celtics including either of them in that trade with the Cavaliers

I don't think they trade either unless it's in a package for Anthony Davis

their trade value will be significantly bigger after this season

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
That wasn't news, if he needed surgery it would have happened before that... that's two months after he played a game

No, they were still debating whether he needed surgery in late June, he had inflammation still and as even just 1 month ago he wasn't even able to run.

If he needs surgery he's done for the year.

Which offer is topping this again?

:dead:

You just spent the last week saying the Nets pick wasn't going to be that good, now it's a case of the pick being too good to pass up, even taking a player back that could miss the season.

Make up your mind.

It's still a 5th or 6th pick

The 7th pick zach Lavine and kris Dunn got Jimmy butler did it not?

Tell me the better package, if there was a better package then they would have taken it wouldn't they? Do you think Cleveland wants to trade Kyrie to their biggest rival?

You left out the fact the Bulls actually had to swap picks or else they wouldn't have gotten the 7th + Both of those guys.

If Thomas misses time it's basically Crowder and the 5-8 for Kyrie, that's fukking horrible. I'd just keep him if that's the case.
