Ive never used the word "c00n" here but that Bun gif should represent that word. This commercial is the very definition of "tap dancing" . Now im not saying blacks cant be jovial and speak articulate, im speaking more on the "shapeshifting" that we feel the need to do depending on the surrounding. This is definantly on par with that kanye valley girl voice interview.
You're on fire right now...

I think he deliberately did it on his own, too.

That lil' coy-ish, TeleTubby wiggle shyt with the head shake and grade school grin had me like... :what:

Bun?! :dwillhuh:

I just added that "they" because well, in a white supremacist power structure there's always an overarching "they," whether it's conspicuous or inconspicuous.

And it's not just the music, this is a result of society, too. ...as you've alluded to.

Never used that word either... yeah, it was extra shape shifting ... and it was unnecessary.

@Oww Yung Fat

Bun arguably get's his first BIG national platform, and a STRONG image, Bun's Southern, Intense, STRONG, somewhat imposing, yet likeable image that he has usually presented of himself as a black man got the bushes. :patrice:

This is crazy how some of ya'll are ripping Bun. Should Bun B use a more threatening vocal tone when getting his corporate paper? He using the same voice he use while lecturing at prestigious Rice University and I for one don't have a problem with it. This commercial is obviously meant to air during prime time and its a good look, but sounds like some of ya'll think Bun should have made sure this commercial was about him rather than about toothpaste :what:

If you criticizing this nikka for coming across as "friendly", mainstream or approachable, your life is fukked up and you need to re-prioritize things cuz what you fail to realize is YOU, not white America are then perpetuating the belief that Hip-Hop can be none of those things.
