You're not getting reparations for slavery because all the slaves are dead as are most of their children. There's no feasible way to do so. That's why this is a foolish argument. You can directly tell if someone is gay and want to get married because they are directly in front of you. You can provide voting rights for people who want to vote because they are directly in front of you asking to vote. You can create social programs that help black people today based on the issues they suffer today because those issues are here and now.

There was a time to get reparations and it was directly after slavery. If there was another shot it was after Jim crow. You're just too far removed. Attempting to say someone using a reasonable argument is propping up white supremacist is just foolish and negworthy.

Ironically, you are a black conservative voting for white supremacist. Why are conservatives who aren't advocating reparations worthy of your vote, but this is somehow a litmus test for liberals?

They are not victims of the same trauma and discrimination that makes these safety nets debilitating.

Financially, liberal policies stress slow but steady economic growth with potential for huge upward swings due to global expansion, in opposed to conservative policies which stress short and erratic, but potentially massive short term growth, but almost always get us in a deficit in the long run. You can rely on your income more in a blue economy.

I vote 3rd party whenever possible because they align more with my interest/prioritiesI am not endorsing republicans.

As for your first point we will have to agree to disagree because I consider every African American to be a victim of slavery
Moreover, its not about the individual, its about the community. We are part of a community that was enslaved and prohibited from competing in the market by the state.
Making black people whole is on the state.
Its about justice.
