It's not a missapropriation of assets. The qb is by far the biggest asset in the nfl and without one you're not going anywhere. So you keep trying until you get one
but you're setting yourself up to never know whether you have that guy. Like I said, how can Petty or Hackenberg show you that they're the guy when you're hellbent on drafting another guy next year? All it does is give the GM time since he's not committing to any QB. If the guys he's drafting can't show they can ever take the field, then it looks like the GM can't identify talent. Believe it or not, it's better to just bottom out, draft a ridiculously talented guy and bet the house on him instead of burning through these assets you could be using to surround whoever the QB is. the GM's just afraid to hitch his wagon to anyone right now.

Would you qualify the 20 million dollar Cornerback giving up 200 yards and a touchdown as misappropriating assets?

32 starting QB's. 20 of them were first rounders. Brees, Wilson, Carr, Dalton, all played right away. Siemian and Keenum are placeholders for first rounders. Taylor, Fitzpatrick and Osweiler were projects who got their shot somewhere else. That leaves Cousins (and it took their #2 overall pick to flame out), Prescott/Romo and Brady. None of these teams are doing this "burn an annual QB pick til football Jesus shows up" shyt. Most teams either commit to someone or if they're lucky, give someone else's project a chance. It would be much more understandable if they were looking to give some other team's project a shot instead of this route.

Or Marshall dropping a sure first down at midfield on the final drive?

Yeah you're clearly not biased here :mjlol:

It was 1 drop. Fitz played like shyt. If Fitz takes advantage of the plethora of opportunities our defense and receiving core give him, we would never even be in that last minute situation. In other words,Fitz's bottom 5 QBS play this week are what caused us to lose.

If Fitz puts up even average passer rating and completion %, we win. I'd rather play Revis his life exorbitant salary and live with some mercurial play against top 5 reivers than pay Fitz 12 million to suckered against every good defense we ever play.

You think geno smith is a starting caliber quarterback in the national football league and are completely absolving any blame on the kicker missing a point after, the defense giving up the game winning score in the final minutes, and Revis giving up a 10 for 10 passing with 160 yards and a score performance by dalton throwing to green. Why should anyone even acknowledge your opinion at all about football?

Continue to say folks saying they don't know how Geno would play in this offense is the same as saying he is a proven qb, brehs

He's been arguing since last year that geno would be better. Anyone who watched him play knows how awful he was. Expecting him to turn it around as a quarterback is as hopeless as expecting Matt Elam to learn how to cover or tackle for the Ravens. I've never seen the jets start a worse player at quarterback, and that includes Kellen Clemens and a guy who ran into his teammates ass once.

I watched him play with trash coaching and personnel. I simply don't know if he can be good. He never had a proper chance. You believe the players and coaches had provided him with that chance. I don't

I didn't say he had good targets or anything of the sort. He made bad decisions with the ball though, his passes were off target, and he looked entirely lost out there.
