I gotta agree with Trip. Mac knows (or should) that he'll need to hitch his wagon to a QB if he wants to keep his job for the near future. Also we won a challenge.

he also can't just take a QB in round just to take one. If that guy has major flaws, he shouldn't feel pressured to choose one. Hell, even if he did take one, he'd get wrecked behind the makeshift O-Line they'll have next year and it really makes him look stupid for burning picks on QB's he never really believed him. Add that to what will be a bad year next year and Woody's impatience, you'll more than likely see then go defense (again) in round 1 and get a stopgap QB while they still try to convince you that Hackenberg will be fine in due time.


I'd love to see the Jets go for a QB but all things considered, nearly every team in front of us will want one too (Chicago, Cleveland, SF at least).

Now round 2 if Watson is there, go for it
