Not much in the top 5 projections that the Jets benefit from. Maybe Peppers or a top CB, but do you really want to see this team pick another defender in the 1st round? I don't. I'd much rather try to take a play maker like Fournette to give our offense an identity. Forte is on the tail end of his career and Bilal is meh at best. Our O-Line is woeful, but there isn't much 1st round talent at OL in the draft, never mind a top 5 pick. I realize RB isn't going to vault us into a playoff contender with the other glaring holes on the offense, but at least we would have someone to build around. Without a presence at QB and O-Line we aren't going anywhere, but the problem is, neither of those can be addressed top 5. Fournette and either Watson or Kaaya in the 2nd would be a good look to me.

We're not drafting a RB that high, would be ridiculous.

We need a QB or OL in the 1st. I might even consider a WR if a talent like Parker is available in the 1st. Trade one of Marshall or Decker. They're locker room poison together. I like Roberts at CB.

No QB they draft is coming in and having an immediate impact. Kizer/Kaaya/Watson/Trubisky aren't coming in and starting Week 1. A stop gap guy is definitely gonna be starting 2017.

I'm OK with going OL. It's not a sexy pick but it's needed.

We literally have none. On the other hand we alsoeed a stopgap with potential to start or else we're just spinning our tires. So either we resign someone like Geno or get another higher profile young QB like Glennon.

Because it's a luxury pick and there are plenty of running backs in drafts.

We need to go OL first and second round. Our lack of focus on non skill position players has caught up to us to the point that Brian winters is our best offensive lineman to build upon

I'm not saying you don't have other pressing needs but I don't think there is a QB worth pickin at 5. At least I'm not sure another Carson Wentz will be in this draft..

I dont know enough about him tbh, but QB is certainly a need so you're always going to consider it there.
