nikka what? You an't ignore someones height when you are looking at them as a player fukk are u talking about right now.
When did I ignore his height when valuing him? The problem is folk like you are exempting him from being overrated because of his height. It don't work like that.
I know for a fact you never played at a high level, shyt much less any level if you don't understand how a person 6 ft has to be Nothing short of incredible to even sniff the league.d.
What kind of bullshyt is this? Save these blanks for the next man. When did I ever say or allude to the fact that what he achieved at his height wasn't a feat in itself? In saying that, he doesn't get extra points for being short in the grand scheme of things (all-time ranking).

The point of this thread is yall put too much investment in this stupid ass human interest rhetoric when valuing him - his cultural impact, his height and his style of play don't mean a cotdamn thing.

I swear nikkas are jealous of the attention and adoration a lot of these cats recieve. No other reason to be hating so much, change your damn tampon and go make some moves of your own.

i'm just letting you know that Pierce was able to carry his weak ass Celtrics cast past a Pacers squad that had J.Oneal, Artest, Reggie, Brad Miller and Al back in 03 without home court..... tell me why Tmac cant take out the Hornets without Mashburn I think?

I do think prime Tmac > Pierce but Tmac wasn't this 2nd coming of Michael Jordan.
Never thought he was the second coming of anyone but he was a still a great player in his prime and would have went down as an all time great minus the injuries. But I cant front he does deserve flack for not advancing at least once in his prime.

This is the type of bullshyt I'm talking about - I don't give a fukk if this nikka was 4ft tall. Lack of height doesn't excuse him from the conversation of being overrated nor does it excuse his deficiencies. Yall are prime examples of why I made this thread.

And the bullshyt continues. Stop dealing in hypotheticals. Deal with reality and reality only. Stop talking what might have happened and talk what happened. His reign on the top was shorter than leprechauns.

:camby:
The man averaged between 22 and 32 points a game for eight seasons so there is nothing hypothetical about it. That 2003 season was an all time great season from T-mac. He shot the ball 24 times a game but he hit 11 of those a night on a 46 percent clip. Yet we praise Kobe's 2006 season (which was an all time great one too) when he shot the ball three more times a game and a lower percentage. Not to mention T-mac averaged more rebounds and assists then him. It's not like this man balled for a year or two and then was never heard from. He was relevant for damn near a decade and the only thing that stopped him from some sort of success was him and Yao both getting hurt.

Out here in my damn drawls
t-mac's prime was riddled with injuries.

when healthy, he was on the same pedestal as kobe.

and im not even gonna bother arguing about Iverson on here anymore. how Iverson constantly gets underrated on a so-called hip-hop message board is beyond me. you'd think he would be overrated on here instead, but no. wow.

:aicmon: When was T-Mac on a all defensive team tho? :what:

It's not being streaky so much as him having to carry such a heavy load on offense while being under 6 feet tall. The man never had a decent second option scoring wise until he hit the nuggets and he was old and broken by then. 95% of the plays Larry had/run were plays intended to either get Iverson an open jumper, get him cutting to the rim with a pass waiting or allowing him to go 1 on 1 on an island and create for others. He wasn't just shooting cause he wanted to, he was shooting cause thats what his coach wanted him to do. Having a 160 lb guy take this kind of beating night in and night out it's surprising he shot as well as he did.

Guy wanted to play so bad he once broke his thumb, cut his own cast off, went to the NBA store to buy a new jersey (his coach hid his jersey so he couldn't force his way into the game) just so he could play in a regular season game. But i see nikkas sayin Rose is better and i havent seen that guy on the court in like 3 years

nikkas not gon convince me otherwise:mjpls:...u put a nikka with the mentality of AI,Tmac,Kobe in a situation where they feel like to have to take bad shots, they will take those bad shots continuously:pachaha:...and will be streaky bcuz of it....but dudes on here like to play these nikkas like they was just random nikkas shootin a bunch of shots and anybody could do it:wtb:...as if we wasn't watchin the games:aicmon:

AI shoulda focused on being a better point guard cuz I really think he coulda put up 10+ assist a night easily just fuking around:ohlawd:....anybody who could draw the attention he drew, handle the ball like he could and shake off defenders, and could pass like he could, trick passes included...his assist numbers is wack when u look at what he could've potentially have done in that arena...highlights coulda been godly on the assist side, never seen nobody handle the ball like dude in the nba or playground at full speed like he could.
