Lost story short. Moving to the DMV for work. Never been on the east coast, somebody put me on game. Where to go, where not to go.

Tysons Corner is booming, that place will be constantly (re)developing over the next decade.

It's not terribly far from DC proper. Get ready for cold weather though. I would warn you about the traffic but it's more or less the same as LA.

But, you will be the heart of Northern VA, which is very but Tysons is a cultural melting pot.

EDIT: DMV has the best Coli get togethers though.

Nah just finished school and got a software developer job that way. Wanted to stay in LA but it's a good opportunity

Tysons, VA is very white...lots of indians...I wouldn't drive around VA at all...anything over 20 mph is a wreckless drivin' ticket categorized as a misdemeanor 1...

Check out the National Harbor...and the new MGM in Oxon Hill, MD heavily Black populated...and the MGM Casino as well that they just put in the harbor...I haven't been out in ages...don't go to VA...if you're black...that's where you shouldn't go...ain't no bytches out there either...unless you really do well...this is a very boughie ass town and area...but comin' from LA...there's probably no difference...I don't go out anymore...though that's going to change...went salsa dancin' last night at the Salsa Room in Arlington, VA...in a Spanish community...was alright...but anything further than Arlington and Alexandria...I'm not fukkin' with...the further you go out in to VA...it's some racists cops with that bullshyt...if you drive like I drove...you will be pulled over every fukkin' day that you get out their on 495...that's all they do is hide in the woods and pull nikkas over and throw them in jail...if you smoke...you're gonna have to travel out of Tysons, VA into DC or MD to get that...at least if you lived in DC...they can deliver that good to you...assumin' you smoke...Strip Clubs...go to Bazz and Crue...I can't recommend Palladium cause I never went...but I like whole in the wall strip joints...can do more...but haven't been there in some years too...so don't know now...I would always get kicked out...now I'm gonna do the opposite of you and move from the DMV to LA...so let me know the deal about what it's like out there and what to do...

Last two winters have been mild AF, but we have seen good snows. There's potential for 1-3 feet at times, but it will usually snow at least one good storm a winter. Other than that, it'll drop down to the 20's during the day and teens at night in the Jan-Feb timeframe.

Thanks man...tryna get out to the hills when I make it...I see they do have reasonably priced houses in the hills under 400K but fukk that...I want a mansion...at least like 4 Million...overlookin' the hills...that may be some years from now...like in another 4 or 5 years...now that I think of it...I've been meaning to check into Howard University...always wanted to go there but couldn't get in way back...but I'm going to look into it again...time is flyin' by and I think it's time for me to go back to school...I don't know...but Howard been poppin' up everywhere in conversations (this thread for instance) and the other day a breh had on an Howard sweater...and I overheard this older guy schoolin' this youngin' on goin' to Morgan State (my cuz graduated from there) but fukk it...it's all about Howard University...back to Cali...I heard San Diego was the shyt...and a good place to live...but I want them houses in the hills...we'll see how things play out...my life is always very unpredictable...but predictably stays the same when I try take things to the next level in life and otherwise......it's good your not bringin' the whip...I uber everywhere too...if you need that smoke...I can help with that too...good luck homie!...
