Breh I appreciate the devils advocate role, you think Saigon would mutter those words under his breath in a 50 mile vicinity of Shaq?

:pachaha::mjlol::heh:

LOL....

Thank you

U just proved my point.

My original statement u quoted was about the hyporcrisy with Hip Hop being on some 'Fukk the polish ish' but yet we give Shaq a pass. Here u have Saigon talking about being a killer towards security guards because they resemble popo but if Saigon was 50 ft from Shaq, as u say, he wouldnt even go there. Hip Hop is a straight hypocrite when it promotes the "Fukk the police" attitude but wont go there with Shaq who is associated with popo.

Cause People only go after people that have less $$ than them or physically weaker than them. Kinda like how the neighborhood goon rapes a kid or the swagged out breh catches a body, but people are all :whoa:

Same logic for Shaq :sas2:

but we talking about shaq :dwillhuh:

Right. We talking about Shaq who proudly associates himself with the same popo who have a reputation in the urban communities for being the oppressors. None of those oppressors of the community have rhymes about selling drugs and killing nikkas. They actually do sell drugs and kill nikkas.

So are u saying that its ok to put Ross on blast for being an ex CO who is rapping about selling drugs and killing nikkas but we should stay quiet and act like we dont see Shaq aligning himself with the ones who are actually killing nikkas??? That makes no sense.

That doesnt answer my question. Every since NWA and 2pac....There has always been this "Us vs Them" thing in Hip Hop when speaking on police and those in the urban community. Regular police arent rapping about selling drugs but they are actually selling drugs and they are actually killing nikkas.

So basically what u are saying is that because Shaq isnt rapping it, Hip Hop is silent...... but when cops are actually doing it, we wanna make a fuss and have marches and create BS hashtags like #blacklivesmatter??

:what:

.....That makes no sense.

In actuality we need more black cops to balance the power...imagine if the police force and the political positions were predominantly black or with other quote on quote minorities...we wouldn't see these 1740 laws that we see in the south and other parts of america...if you want things to change you have to be the change and stop waiting for someone in the sky to intervene...let Shaq be Shaq he's a good role model and he never promoted slanging' or bustin his gun...saved all his NBA checks and balled off endorsements...we don't need more rappers...we need more lawyers and doctors like 2Pac said...and we need more judges like Olu Stevens...

No matter how bad you want to call Shaq hip hop, he is not. He's an athlete that enjoys hip hop, but they different standards. Rappers tell their supposed life stories so they get put under a microscope. Shaq hoops. Thats all I expect from him. Just because he's a rich black man who kicks it with other artists it doesn't make him hip hop.

Help me understand. So if I'm Rick Ross and I was a CO I can be bomboarded with mockery of being a cop everyday on Hip Hop social media. But if I'm an actual cop everyone is silent?

:francis:
You do realize the stupidity in pretending to be a big drug dealer but you were actually a CO, and then LYING about it right?

Well from what you saying you feel all police are oppressors thereby corrupt and wicked. The problem with what you're saying is that if you feel this to be so what is the alternative to securing neighborhoods and ensuring its safety. Unless you have a bunch of people in an "urban" community that are of the same mindset and willing to empower people they trust to protect them and their property you have to work within the framework of this society. You can vote for and/or run for leadership positions within that force and even join it if you want; It can be a futile process if done untactful but its what you have to work with.

As for your second statement, Ross promotes drug dealing basically among other fantasies which may or may not be breaking the law but in his previous work he was a dam hand of the law exercising its powers given unto him. Shaq as far as I know and could stomach to listen to never rapped about something he was not.
